Beneath My Feet

I love so many things about it -- the clever perspective, bare feet, but mostly the energetic feelings  of being joyful in that moment. It shows Mackenzie's creative and optimistic lens on life. Now in her 3rd decade, our girl often has itchy travel feet that have carried her extensively on this planet. She has made her home in the magnificent Rockies. The years have brought some challenges, but overall she works at finding balance -- keeping her head in the clouds and her feet touching the ground.  I love you forever. I'll like you for always.   Rich spotted this heart-shaped ceramic tile weathered by the sand and sea. Bucerias, MX 2022. Heart symbols are ubiquitous. Text messages and social media have added to the barrage of hearts. Add the commercialism of Valentine's Day, and hearts might seem silly or hokey. I don't mind. I use the heart emoticon, myself, to quickly and visually express without words: I love this. I support you. I'm thinking about you. I'm happy for you. I see or hear you. You are special to me. I feel your pain or heart ache. I love spending time with you. I can't wait to see you. I miss you. I love you. But, we must remember to slow down in our messaging, and use our words, too. 💗
