    Do you know any lucky people with " horseshoes  up their .....?"  A good measure of luck is totally random, like winning a lottery.  But, have you wondered if lucky folks somehow generate their own good fortune?  "Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity." ~ attributed to Seneca Studies have shown that luck is often about being prepared and receptive to opportunities, but also a mindset. I recall an experiment where a $20 bill was planted on a street and many walked by without noticing. The lucky spotted it. Lucky people notice chance opportunities, but also create them. Perhaps they prepare by researching and saving money for a travel adventure, or by taking a class. They might volunteer or share their talents somewhere and that leads to other chance opportunities or friendships. Always fascinated with the creative process, the pics below reveal how the pieces evolved during the 3 days at a recent Chalk Art Festival. Fine art need not hang squarely on a wall or be placed permanently on a pedestal; it might exist temporarily on the street beneath our feet.  The artists recognize the impermanence of their medium.   After working long hours in the hot sun -- their masterpieces now fade beneath regular foot and vehicle traffic.  "Impermanence is a principle of harmony.
