Happy Campers!
So true! I must admit, I'm starting to feel a little FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) with all the RVing that is going on amongst our friends. This last month alone, friends gave us tours of the inside of their new campers, vans, motorhomes and trailers. They are all thrilled to take their new (or newish) home on wheels on adventures, or to park it near a beach for a while. It is that time of year with 9 PM sunsets and family reunions. And, possibly that time of life, when you want to explore and escape the city to commune with nature, but want to have the luxuries of a 'dry' mosquito-free home... like a queen bed, kitchen, fridge, shower, and possibly TV! Once you gather all your gear and meals, pull up to your spot and get that monster parked, you'll know that your relationship will survive and life is grand!
The joy is in the journey... always take the scenic route.
P.S. This reminds me of several comedy movies where RVs were involved. About Schmidt with Jack Nicholson who heads out in a Winnebago Adventurer Class A motorhome; We're the Millers with drug smuggling Jennifer Aniston; and, Captain Fantastic. On a rainy day, check them out, as you likely get Netflix in that fancy schmancy RV!
P.P.S. Remembering my dad today on his birthday. We loved that for summer vacations we would head off in the family truck camper.
Yap, looking fwd to that first trip soon :) New little camper, perfect for the jeep. Real tiny but it will keep us off the ground for sleeping and keep us nice and dry in the event of rain :) So much fun :)
