Snow in June?
White stuff was piling up in the alleyway below our condo. Could it be snow in June? As it turned out, the nearby nightclub was planning a street festival and was testing their foam-making machine. I thought it dreamy to dash through a mountain of suds -- lighter than air, and vanishing with crackling pops. With little hesitation, I joined the antics in the alley.
I'm not a runner, but sometimes, like a kid, I have the urge to sprint as fast as I can for a few seconds, or from here to there. Without having a heart attack, I'll feel exhilarated. When driving past an acreage with horses, I love to see them race-off for no particular reason other than for joy and exercise. Off-leash dog parks are a favourite place for walks, even without a dog. My heart smiles to watch them zooming and zagging, tails wagging, and then with a sudden crouch, coax another into play.My folks at home in Canada are likely seeing the 'real' white stuff now. Enjoy watching it fall, and perhaps coax another to run through it with you, or whatever play is for you.
