Jibber-Jabber Jargon
Remember confetti? ... those tiny, sometimes colourful bits of paper ... a snow shower of rice for the happy couple. I got to thinking that those annoying to clean up dots of paper are called "confetti", a happy sounding word. Apparently there are many words that people consider joyful. Sort of a silly language study, but here are some examples that I came up with to make you smile. (Notice all the double letters, like oo's and zz's...)
- Lollipop
- Bamboozle
- Swizzle Stick
- Baby Boomers
- Hullabaloo
- Bubble
- Pickle
- Shenanigans
- Glitter
- Hoopla
- Bumblebee
- Rigamarole
- Humdinger
- Sassafras
- Crumpet
- Chickadee
- Jitterbug
- Squeegee
- Kazoo
- Fizzy
- Curlicue
- Serendipity
- Snazzy
- Jubilee
- Razzamataz
- Kumquat
- Ginkgo biloba
